When you apply to rent a chair, we collect the information you give us, including:

• Your full name, email address, and phone number;
• Optional social media handles (e.g., Instagram) you choose to share;
• Your Texas barber (Class A) license number;
• A photo of your barber license that you upload for verification.

Payment information. Monthly rent is processed by our payment provider, Stripe. Your card and bank details are entered directly with Stripe — we do not collect, see, or store your full payment-card numbers on our systems.

Automatically collected. We collect basic technical data needed to run the site, such as session identifiers (to hold your chair during checkout and keep you signed in to the admin area) and error/diagnostic logs.

• To verify your barber license against the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) records;
• To set up your chair reservation and manage your recurring monthly rent;
• To communicate with you about your application, reservation, billing, and account;
• To operate, secure, and improve our website; and
• To comply with our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed:

• Texas TDLR — we check the license number you provide against the State of Texas public licensing database to confirm you are a licensed barber.
• Stripe — to process your monthly rent and manage your subscription.
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) — to host our site and securely store your data and license photo.
• Sentry — to monitor and fix technical errors.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a sale or transfer of the business.

Your information is stored on secured, access-controlled infrastructure. Your uploaded license photo is kept in private storage and is not publicly accessible; it is viewable only by authorized Stealth Cuts staff for verification and record-keeping. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

We use only essential cookies needed for the site to function — for example, to temporarily hold a chair for you during checkout and to keep the shop owner signed in to the admin area. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

We keep your information for as long as you rent a chair with us and afterward as needed to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements or to resolve disputes. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

You may request to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to our legal and record-keeping obligations. Texas residents may have additional rights under applicable state law. To make a request, contact us using the details below.

Our service is intended only for licensed barbers who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes will be communicated where appropriate.
